I See You

The world has been a cruel place. It is hard for us to understand why such cruelty exists. We cannot understand how there is a good God because how can a good God allow such things that are evil in the world to exist?

Free Will

God is different from humanity because God does not have an inclination to do evil, only humanity does. Humanity can choose to be either good or evil. We are a collective whole that is here on earth creating. We choose what we want to create. We haven’t even understood what we were creating since we are all here motivated by the individual experience of having the highest pleasure.

Individually, we are seeking to find peace but we don’t really know what that is. Even if we try to hide in some remote place away from the world, we still cannot be happy. We can never separate from the world completely because we all are a part of it. We all created it and, so, we still have to live in this place that is full of evil, confusion, dysfunction, and chaos. No matter what, we are all going to experience the negative effects of each other’s selfish choices.

So, what is the solution?

The Two Worlds

The only solution is to live in the world physically but not become a part of it spiritually. We are beginning to see that there are actually two worlds. There is the lowest world, which is in complete darkness and cannot see the other world. This world only sees itself, the individual.

Love does not come from the human because the instinct of the human is akin to the animal. The human’s inclination is to protect the physical self at all costs, even if it means a cost to the other.

But this is not the way of God who is our opposite. God is spirit. Humanity is physical. When we choose to know God we choose to love because that is the only way we can overcome our inclination to protect the physical self. Love did not come from the human, it came from God.

Making the Right Choice

Throughout our day we are given an experience. Every day is a journey to learning the deeper self. Throughout our day we are making hundreds of choices. We are all here to experience the greatest pleasure but we don’t realize that our deepest pleasure is to please the other. When we love the other, we are kind and considerate of the whole. When the whole has their needs met then so does the self.

The greatest pleasure is to go against the animal self and choose to love the other. Our decision to love feels foreign. It does not feel right because it is the opposite of who we are in our physicality.

Creating Light

We have been creating darkness this whole time, but now we know how to create light. The only way we can create light is by admitting that we are darkness. We now know that we will fail if we make choices that are selfish and there will be consequences. The consequence is a feeling that will not be the pleasure that we intended it to be, instead, it will affect us in a painful way.

Getting out of the Self

Learning to let go is learning that we are not a victim. We are not trapped. We do not have to continue to be in this state of dysfunction and chaos just because everyone else does not believe in this other world. The physical body is temporary and so is this physical world. In truth, we do not have any attachment to it except that it is a temporary dwelling place. While we are here, all we need to do is make those hard choices that are done in love and then our world changes. We no longer live in this physical world because now we see with new eyes that see the other. Now we realize who we really are and who we need to be.

Fog in the mirror, a ghost of yourself
You lost your voice when you asked for help
You wanna run with nowhere to go
Guess I should do better at letting you know
Don't waste time on your demons
Find that space you can breathe in
Not too long 'til it's over
Rest your head on my shoulder
When we're broken and blinded
We all need someone to guide us home
You don't see what I see
Beautiful in front of me
You can hide in the dark, but the light you keep
You don't see what I see
I see you, I see you...

Too busy thinkin' 'bout everyone else
You're just a stranger inside of yourself
All of the silence weighing you down
I'll be the voice, I'll scream and I'll shout
Don't waste time on your demons
Find that space you can breathe in
Not too long 'til it's over
Rest your head on my shoulder
When we're broken and blinded
We all need someone to guide us home
You don't see what I see
Beautiful in front of me
You can hide in the dark, but the light you keep
You don't see what I see
I see you, I see you...
