It has been all about our perception. We have a good eye and a bad eye. We are here to judge. We judge one another. Judging is what we do. Everything is about making a judgement since every situation needs to make a choice. Every single person is in control of their universe. We all have a different life here on earth and can choose how we want our universe to play out since it reflects what we believe in.
The Evil Eye
Before we are ready to judge one another, we must be able to meet the standards of being a good judge. We have to know the difference between what is good versus what is evil.
In order to be like God, we must eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. To know evil, humanity had to sin.
For God knows that in the day you eat of it [tree of good and evil] your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.
Genesis 3:5
The only way to break the curse of sin is to choose to be good, but first, we needed to understand what is evil to be able to understand what is good. Humanity is like Eve who chose to give the fruit from the tree of good and evil to Adam, and, so, corrupted her Adam. I believe it was her desire to be with Adam, as one, physically, that corrupted her intention to do the right thing — that is when sin was born.
The Sixth Day
It is still the sixth day, in a sense, because man is created on the sixth day. Man cannot move into the seventh day, which is our marriage with God until we know the difference between good and evil. That is when we know who we are, in truth, and can make a good judgement.
The Eye of God
When we have done our work on ourselves, we have overcome our rebellion towards God and ourselves — we have made those hard choices to take care of the self. That is when we no longer see bad because we can see what is bad and use it to do good.
The eye is the lamp of the body. So if your eye is healthy, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eye is evil, your whole body will be full of darkness. Therefore, if the light within you has turned into darkness, how great is that darkness!
Matthew 6:22-23
A New Adam is Born
When humanity chooses to allow God to be in control, humanity realizes that in our human understanding we create chaos and destruction. If we believe in God, we learn to love the other to make a judgement that is good as it is done in a loving way to help the other who is still in darkness see what is good.
When we are able to teach each other how to transform our darkness into good, humanity has overcome evil and the curse from the beginning of time — a new Adam will be born.
The first man Adam became a living being. The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.
1 Corinthians 15:45
We become life. We become spirit. We become good. We become light. We become the man. We become Adam. We become like God.
