I enjoyed the personal touch of this book. In a way, you feel like you know him. He is talking to you. Vitaliy shares a bit about who he is and how he came to his point of view. He gives you the experience by providing examples of how stoicism can help you work out your problems. Everyone can relate to his practical secrets about how he has learned to deal with the ups and downs of life that he found based on the stoicism philosophy.

It is nice to know you Vitaliy. With all your success, from a life in Russia to a move to the U.S. and English as your second language; you are a person who I can aspire to want to be. With your faith and philosophy, it is no wonder why people trust you to make their financial investments. Knowing a little bit about you, I can see why they do.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Vitaliy Katsenelson was born in Murmansk, Russia, and immigrated to the United States with his family in 1991. After joining Denver-based value investment firm IMA in 1997, Vitaliy became Chief Investment Officer in 2007, and CEO in 2012.
Vitaliy has written two books on investing and is an award-winning writer. Known for his uncommon common sense, Forbes Magazine called him “The New Benjamin Graham.”
