In the Garden of Eden, Adam and Eve were separated. They chose to have choice when they ate from the Tree of Knowledge of good and evil. This meant that they had to know evil in order to be able to understand what is good.
Eve is the Tree of Knowledge of good and evil and Adam is the Tree of Life. Adam was just Adam, the image of God, but then God said, it is not good for man to be alone, I will make him a helper.
That is when out of Adam, Eve was made, but combined they are ONE in the image of God.
Adam and Eve complement one another. The choice had to have been made by Eve that it would be okay to eat from the Tree of Knowledge of good and evil because God gave her the ability to know. I believe that she and Adam grew out of their child-like love for each other and were in love. Their passion to be ONE in each other made it more difficult to stay apart.
Eve wanted Adam to have her fruit.
They were both naive.
Because Adam knew she was knowledge of what is good and evil he trusted her. She rationalized with the serpent (I believe was Adam) instead of trusting God.
That is when evil was born; the man and the woman no longer trusted one another. From then on the man and the woman have been in exile from God and each other.
The Man
God took a people and desired to define them by telling them who He is. They would be a nation, the Israelites, and a light unto the world.
But because of more defiance against God, this nation was exiled. The 12 tribes of Israel were dispersed out into all the nations. Only one tribe remained holding on to the Israeli torch till this day.
The Woman
The woman has always been in exile. She has been lost all this time. She is the nations. She has been trying to find her way back to the Promised Land — back to her beautiful Garden of Eden.
Israel
Israel is all the people of God, today, from all the nations who are seeking and love God. We are both the man and the woman. We are Adam and Eve.
Adam is Eve and Eve is Adam.
The man and the woman who love one another break the curse from the very beginning of time. They finally see one another as they both now know what is evil. Because they know evil, they now know what is love and how to love one another.
Loving one another reveals the depth of God’s love. God’s love runs deep; all the way from the beginning of time. The man and the woman were separated by the opposite of love. Evil had kept them in darkness all this time.
The man is the woman and the woman is the man.
This love is true love because only our love to God can give the man and the woman life to break the curse of evil from the very beginning of time.
When the man and the woman love one another, goodness will be born.
God is the Tree of Life and the woman is the Tree of Knowledge of good and evil.
For unto us a Child is born,
Isaiah 9:6
Unto us a Son is given;
And the government will be upon His shoulder.
And His name will be called
Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
