We Are Not in Competition

I was listening to a Jewish message about how God created animals, but that He created them according to their own kind. When animals were created they were created differently than the man and the woman. The animals were created separately according to their kind. Animals were not made from each other and in the image of God like man was.

But on the sixth day, man (Adam) was created and out of Adam came Eve. They were created as one being in the image of God.

We Are Not Animals

Unlike animals, humans are created to be one in the other.

But, in our human nature, we are blind. We have been acting much like the animal. Instead of recognizing that we are actually one, we have been working against each other in an attempt to survive for our own individual selves.

We need to wake up to the fact that one is not better than the other. We are all here for the same reason — to survive. Unless we start seeing each other as an extension of our individual selves then we will never survive. If we don’t wake up soon, we will continue in our toxic, dysfunctional ways that is contrary to our true selves with God and will eventually end up destroying ourselves.

Let’s Put Our Ego Aside

It’s not about who is right or who is wrong.

We can argue that things are supposed to be in line with how we individually see things, but that does not prove anything. We cannot say it is supposed to be my way or hit the highway. Where is the love in that?

We are supposed to try to understand our other self.

In a courtroom there are always two sides to a story. It takes a jury to look at all the evidence and then make a judgment as to what they feel is right. There is always two sides to a story and it is only fair that we hear both sides of it.

With only divine love can we understand the choices we’ve made and the mistakes that we’ve done. We all have made mistakes. It is time to learn how to forgive. We all need to be healed. No healing can be done until we learn to forgive.

Humans Make Mistakes

It is okay to make a mistake since we are not perfect. But it is not okay to allow our egos not to admit that we did. When we cannot admit our mistakes, we remain blind to how our actions affect each other. That is when we become unable to see out of our darkness. That also means the darkness and dysfunction can never heal or know the light.

Only God forgives. Forgiveness is divine because in ourselves we cannot forgive.

God’s perfect love allows us to forgive ourselves, forgive others, and be healed.

Do not be Jealous

God made each one of us special. No one is better than the other because we are all awesome in our own unique ways. We are all the same, yet in God’s divine creativity we all complement one another differently. We are not in competition with each other. When we understand that we are not here to “one-up” the other, we will see that we are actually here to encourage one another to enhance each others understanding of themselves and God.

We were created to help each other.

Then the LORD God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone; I will make him a helper suitable for him.”

Genesis 2:18

Each other is all of us.

Not just Christian’s helping Christians, or Jews just helping Jews, or Muslims just helping Muslims.

God’s love is bigger than ourselves!

We are all created from the same. All religions, all disciplines, all fields of learning, all peoples are all unique expressions of the same God who created each and every one of us to be a declaration of their own individual beauty, who shine their own light, their way to reflect the same God who created us all.

Love is what we reflect because love is who we are.

— So, we need to stop behaving like animals.
