Humbled, there is nothing left — the slate is now wiped clean. Time to find a beginning, a fresh start; it’s a new day.
Like a wild stallion, we strut and snort. We are aware of our great beauty. There are no rules. We run free like the wind… We are carefree and wild. We are mighty and powerful. Nothing can touch us. We are invincible.
But…
Being wild, we see that our wild nature has led us astray. We cannot make it on our own. We see how harsh the world is. It has been cruel to us. We understand the need to be broken since we do not know the way. We have been running in circles with no direction.
We do not Understand Our Purpose
Allowing God to be in control is allowing Him to put a bit in our mouths and letting Him steer us in the right direction.
Daily Sacrifices
When we submit to God, we suppress our inner animal instinct that opposes God. Daily we make sacrifices to Him to change for the better, in order, to tame our wild spirits. The more we allow God to transform our hearts to be more like Him, the more we identify with the Spirit of God that resides within each one of us who are seeking Him.
Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.
1 JOHN 4:7
Our Purpose
Our purpose is learning the difference between our ego, which is our inner animal, versus learning who the Spirit of God is. When we allow God to be in control He will guide our wild spirits allowing us to still run free, but this time He will be holding the reigns running with us.
I run in the path of your commands, for you have broadened my understanding.
PSALMS 119:32
and together we will win that race…
I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and wages war. His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself. He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God. The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean. Coming out of his mouth is a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. “He will rule them with an iron scepter.” He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty. On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS
