Okay, so as you know, by now, I am all about the Jews. I have quietly been on this road for some time now. There were lots of ups and downs as I was trying to find myself. I just didn’t know who the heck I was! I wanted to know who God is.
Who is God?
You know how my story goes; I believed in Christianity because I didn’t know religion or what religion was. I thought Christianity was the only one! Ha! Ha! What a laugh. Not only was I so confused about myself — How confusing was it to now figure out who God is!
Christianity, okay… So, what is Christianity? Is it the Baptists, the Pentecostals, or the Catholics? Is it the United Church, the Anglican Church, or is it the Non-Denominationals that have it all right? What about the Lutherans, the Presbyterians, the Methodists, and the Salvation Army Church?
And Oh, how we’ve only just begun!
I had no clue what I was getting into, but I just kept on plugging away at it anyway. Like we all do. Like we all are trying to make sense of everything.
All these religions and then there’s science, history, culture, and tradition!
Oh my!!

Now, what do I do?
Only by the grace of God is there a God speaking directly into the heart of those who are truly seeking Him. I can say that because once you’re down that rabbit hole, the only way out is with Him! He has to divinely intervene.
As you are aware, my shtick has always been about the Jews. Since I believed in a Jew, it only seemed logical to understand the Jew. That is when my journey began.
I am very encouraged these days because I believe as they are also believing in what they have always believed in; we all seem to be a little more balanced about it all. What is in the end is just like how it was in the very beginning. I am you. You are me.
You are him and I am her.
Now I hear you telling me. That is why I am so encouraged…
A great message from Rabbi Michael Gutmacher
