What is Jewish?

The message of God is simple: Love God to learn how to love yourself to know how to love others.

But is this message really all that simple?

Why is love so complicated and who is our neighbour?

I may not be Jewish, but I believe in Jewish. Because I believe in Jewish, I am learning what is love. I found love because I believe in love; therefore, I know how to love.

I’m not saying that I am perfect, but I am understanding how to love myself. As I am understanding how to respect and care about myself, I am also understanding how to be kind, caring, and respectful to the people around me. I am learning how difficult it is to make good choices for myself. I am realizing that my choices not only affect me but also those around me.

Every choice we make means something to ourselves and each other. We are all interconnected and affect each other either positively or negatively.

But we were created to love.

Being Religious isn’t Love.

There is a difference between learning and being.

When I was in school learning how to become a nurse, I read a lot and was understanding how to be a nurse in theory. I had the theory on how to be a nurse and was book smart, but I did not understand until I actually became a nurse. Understanding how to be a nurse was very different than just reading about what it means to be one.

Religion teaches us what is good through its golden rule: Love love and love others.

We eventually need to take what we are learning and apply it to ourselves and REALLY live it. That is what TRULY matters about life. That is when we truly are living. That is when we understand the difference between what is religion and who is God.

God is a living action. Our actions speak what is in our heart and what we have learned. God is truth about what is not only right for ourselves, but what is also right for each other. If we truly believe in God then we will care for each other in the same way as we care about ourselves. We are humble and we are selfless because God is the religion of love.

Nothing should be more important than heaven. Heaven is that perfect place. All your perfect actions that you have learned are what is good for you and for each other. That is what life is about and that is what gives life meaning. We live to love and love lives on — Everything else is meaningless because everything else has no place.

We are the Light.

We, who know love are Israel. We are God’s chosen bride. Our souls burn with the passion of kindness towards our neighbour because our neighbour is ourself — We are all one, united in one heart, with one mission, to LOVE.

Love is who we are.
