God, Poetry, Thought-Provoking

I Am Who I Am

I am not a man.
I do not fit the role of a male.
You are Adam,
You were made in the image of God,
You are Earth,
God breathed me into you,
From you I am made.
I am woman,
I came after you,
He is life.
Your other half that is missing God,
Is missing you.
My name is Eve.

The man named his wife Eve, because she was the mother of all the living. (Gen. 3:20)

God is love. Love can be found in all relationships, but the most intimate relationship is that of a man and a woman. Their differences make a complement that reveals the identity of God, true love in it’s purest form. God is made complete in the complement of an opposite attraction. This attraction is also seen between the Jew and the Gentile relationship who seek to know the face of God. Over a history of time, a love relationship can finally be understood. The complement is found in our union, which reveals the truest identity of who God is. Together we are God’s Bride and He is our Husband.
