A religious man is a person who holds God and man in one thought at one time, at all times, who suffers harm done to others, whose greatest passion is compassion, whose greatest strength is love and defiance of despair. Abrahn Heschel, Man is Not Alone
Pebbles of Wisdom with Rabbi David Aaron – Why Does God Allow Evil?
Good vs. Bad
I am convinced that part of our journey here is to learn to prioritize. Firstly, understand what is good then figure out how to apply it to our lives. We are a product of our choices.
When asked what are the greatest commandments, Jesus replied,
“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: You shall love your neighbour as yourself. On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.” Matthew 22:36-40
It is important that we love God first since then we will know how to love ourselves, therefore, we will know how to love one another. God wants us to be overcomer’s of our own desires and choose His. In His graciousness, He has given us choice.
- You are very important
- You have purpose
- The greatest achievement is in you; our greatest strength is in us
- Seek and you will find
There can be no faith without truth. Zohar
