God

Shekinah Glory

Love is felt when it is expressed in action. Loving God is learning love, so you can understand how to love your neighbour as yourself. It is the golden rule, said to be the greatest commandment by Jesus,

“‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbour as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

Matthew 22: 37:40 (NIV)

If you are Jewish, you say it three times a day when you recite your sacred prayer, the Shema,

“Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is One. And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.”

Deuteronomy 6:4:5 (NIV)

Love is what the world needs. It is crying out for it. It is in these times every simple action can mean the world to someone. The world needs to feel love. It is by our hand that extends to another’s hand and then to communities, to cities, to states, to countries, and then to the world. To know love, we have to be love, to one another. We have to turn a word into something that is real. That is when all things will come together, so all things will be known.

Strive to be your best

Never take for granted any given situation. Even the smallest interactions during your day have meaning. Love your job. If you don’t love it, find out why. If you can’t learn to love it then find a new one that you will love. See the goodness in everything you do. See the goodness all around you and add to it. Be passionate about everything you do. Never take for granted of the power that you have within yourself. Always strive to be your best because your best is the image of God. When you share yourself in love with others, you are extending a piece of God to them. Your best is who you are at all times. Seek it, and find it. Who you are in private is who you are always. Be aware that you are a piece of God. Believe in who you are and look forward to all the great things that will happen all around you. Thank God because He is in control, not you.

We have more to ourselves than we give ourselves credit for. Not for our glory, but for the Shikinah glory of God.

I love you God. You are my reason to be. Thank you for all that I am. I have been on pause, but now I am back… even stronger
